Hell In a Cell for the SmackDown Women’s Title: Sasha Banks vs. Bayley (c)

We go back to the Cell and out first comes Sasha Banks to a pop. SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley is out next but the Network feed cuts out as soon as she enters the Cell.

We’re back live to Banks dropkicking Bayley’s steel chair as she swings. The chair flies to the outside. The match begins and Bayley goes out to stall. Sasha brings it back in and works he rover. Sasha with a choke in the corner. Back and forth now. Banks misses a baseball slide and gets sent into the steel. Bayley brings a kendo stick from under the ring but misses. Banks avoids more kendo shots. Banks grabs the stick and throws it through the Cell wall, almost hitting Cole. Bayley rocks Banks with an elbow. Bayley grabs another kendo stick and Banks blocks it. Banks with a knee strike. She stands a table up on the floor now.

Bayley decks Banks and moves the table. Banks wedges her against the steel with the table. Bans runs up the table and nails a running double knees. Banks goes to the top and hits a Meteora for a close 2 count. Banks brings steel chairs into the ring now. Bayley dodges a swing and rolls Banks for a 2 count. Bayley sends Banks back to the floor and she lands on the table. Bayley goes on and misses another chair shot. Banks ends up driving Bayley into the steel with another double knees. More back and forth now. Banks with a running dropkick that sends Bayley into the steel steps. Banks goes under the ring for kendo sticks, putting them between the steps and the Cell. Bayley blocks a suplex onto the sticks. Banks blocks the same. Bayley with a drop toe hold into the sticks that were hanging and the steel steps.

Banks sends kendo sticks into Banks’ throat. Bayley with a 2 count. More high impact offense between two now. Banks puts Bayley’s head into a chair but Bayley drops her onto the chair. Bayley wedges the chair into the turnbuckles but Banks ends up sending her into it with a knee. Bayley ends up hitting a sunset flip Buckle Bomb into a chair. Bayley with a close 2 count. Bayley goes to the top for the big elbow drop but Banks kicks out at 2. Banks with a Lungblower and a Banks Statement. Bayley puts Banks into the apron cover and slams her head into the apron beam. Bayley with kendo stick shots now. Bayley brings out duct tape and rope. She tapes two sticks together and hangs them between the ring and the Cell. Banks ends up grabbing a fire extinguisher from under the ring and spraying it in Bayley’s face from the floor as Bayley walks over to the ropes in the ring. Bayley is blinded now. She’s trying to get out of the Cell door but it’s locked.

Bayley grabs her chair but Banks takes it. Banks unloads on Bayley and beats her down by the door with strikes, yelling at her as fans cheer her on. Banks launches Bayley into the steel wall, and again. Banks with a Meteora against the Cell and another aggressive beatdown. Banks rolls Bayley in the ring. Banks grabs a kendo stick from under the ring and brings it in. Banks unloads with tons of kendo stick shots and then tosses it away. Banks goes up top for a big Frogsplash onto the chair but Bayley gets it up in the way. Banks lands hard but it also hurts Bayley. Bayley slams Banks face-first onto the floor, then brings it back in for a close 2 count. Bayley is frustrated now as she screams out.

The Network cuts out once again but comes back to Bayley standing over Banks with a chair, waiting for her to get back up. Bayley taunts Banks as she tries to get back up. Bayley with a Bayley-to-Belly on the chair but Banks ends up turning it into the Banks Statement with the steel chair wrapped around her head. Bayley tries to hang on but she finally taps out for the submission to win the title.

Winner and New SmackDown Women’s Champion: Sasha Banks

– After the match, Banks sits up as her music hits and fans cheer her on. The referee hands her the title. Bayley is down face-first with the chair still around her. Banks raises the title in the air while putting a foot down on top of Bayley. We go to replays. Banks raises the title on the stage now as Bayley looks on from the ring. Banks takes her time with the celebration.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles Match: Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

We go back to the ring for this WWE Payback rematch as The Golden Role Models are out first – Sasha Banks with SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. They pose on the ramp as the pyro goes off above them. Out next are the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions – Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. We get a sidebar backstage video of SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura in their Champions Lounge. We get formal ring introductions from Hamilton in the middle of the ring.

Baszler stares Bayley down before the bell. The bell rings but the champs are talking, deciding on who will start. Bayley and Banks attack while Jax and Baszler aren’t looking, clearing the ring of the champions. Baszler and Jax end up coming back and taking the challengers off the apron, and rag-dolling them into the barrier a few times, then dropping them on the floor. We go back to a commercial break.

Back from the break and Baszler is working on Bayley’s arm. Jax tags in with a splash in the corner. Baszler with a running knee in the corner. Jax covers Bayley for 2. Jax with a shoulder breaker to Bayley for another 2 count. Jax tosses Bayley across the ring and hits a back splash while she’s down, and again. Jax grounds Bayley again as Banks looks on.

Bayley looks to turn it around but Jax continues to dominate for another 2 count. Baszler tags back in and works Bayley over on the mat. Banks finally tags in and goes at it with Jax. Jax sends her to the apron but Banks rocks her with a pair of knees, and another. Banks with double knees in from the apron and then a running knee from across the ring. Banks goes to the top and hits a Meteora for a close 2 count. Jax lifts Banks on her shoulders but Banks slides off to the apron. Baszler tags in but Banks rocks them both, sending Baszler to the floor. Jax gets sent to the apron now. Banks goes to powerbomb Jax from the apron to the floor but she hangs on. Bayley, off a tag, runs in and assists, allowing Banks to powerbomb Jax to the floor from the apron. Bayley blocks a Kirifuda Clutch from Baszler and levels her with a belly-to-back suplex. Banks tags back in and hits a running knee for another close 2 count on Baszler.

Banks talks trash to Bayley, taking her to the corner and stomping away. Banks and Bayley with quick tags now, keeping Baszler down in their corner. Baszler avoids a double team and goes for a Kirifuda Clutch on Bayley again but Banks breaks it with a Backstabber. They tangle and Banks covers for a 2 count. Bayley ends up going to the top rope and hitting the flying elbow drop to Baszler for another close 2 count in a row. The challengers can’t believe it as they show some frustration. Banks with a big sliding dropkick to Baszler’s shoulder on the apron. Banks goes for running double knees on the apron against the ring post but Baszler moves and Banks crashes hard into the post with her knees. She falls to the floor and Bayley checks on her as she screams out.

Bayley goes back to the apron as Banks slowly pulls herself into the ring. Baszler meets her at the ropes but Banks drops her neck over the top rope. Jax tries to launch herself in but Baszler sends her bad knees into the turnbuckles, then takes them out with a chop block. Banks goes back down hard. Baszler with another big attack from behind. Banks rolls Baszler for a 2 count as she works on the leg. Baszler knocks Bayley off the apron and then stomps away on Banks’ hurt leg, forcing her to scream out. Bayley runs in but Baszler grabs her for another potential double submission like Payback.

Bayley counters and hits a Bayley-to-Belly suplex to get Banks free. Banks ends up getting a 2 count on Baszler but she goes right into the Banks Statement. Jax comes over and rips Bayley off the apron, then runs in and breaks Baszler free from the Banks Statement. Baszler crawls to Jax and tags her in. Jax scoops Banks into a Stretch Muffler in the middle of the ring. Banks counters with a roll-up for 2. Jax grabs Banks and puts her on her shoulders.

Jax climbs to the second rope but Bayley comes from behind and pulls Banks down from the hold. Baszler charges but the challengers go to double team slam her. She goes down to the mat but Banks’ knee is giving her trouble. The challengers turn around to Jax flying off the top with a double crossbody, pinning Banks and Bayley at the same time to retain.

Winners: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler

– After the match, the champs stand tall as Jax’s music hits. We go to replays. Medics enter the ring to check on Banks’ leg. Cole says she suffered a very serious leg injury tonight. Bayley looks on as we go back to commercial.

– Back from the break and medics and officials are still in the ring with Sasha Banks. Bayley is also there. Banks and Bayley suddenly start yelling at everyone to leave them alone. Bayley then helps Banks out. Bayley suddenly starts stomping on Banks while she’s down on the apron. Bayley pulls Banks to the floor and unloads, launching her into the barrier and then the steps. Bayley slams Banks’ hurt leg into the steel steps and then stomps away on it as the boos get louder. Bayley launches Banks into the barrier again and then brings her in the ring. Bayley stomps away and starts punching on Banks while she’s down in the corner. Bayley beats Banks around some more, taunting her and telling her she deserves all of this. Bayley drops Banks’ knee back with a DDT. Bayley brings a steel chair in the ring now. Banks tries to fight back and kicks Bayley. Bayley shuts her down and nails another running shot to the face. Bayley goes on and wraps the chair around Banks’ neck. Bayley goes to the top and leaps off, stomping on the chair to hurt Banks’ neck. The boos get louder as Bayley exits the ring and stares Banks down, clutching the title as officials check on Banks. We go back to commercial.

– Back from the break and we see what just happened between Bayley and Sasha Banks. We see Banks being stretchered out through the back, and loaded into an ambulance. The ambulance drives off.

– We go backstage to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions – RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. There seems to be some tension over Bayley’s match with Asuka on Monday’s RAW, for Asuka to earn a SummerSlam shot against Banks. Banks says Bayley’s got this and she most importantly needs Bayley to do this for her. They argue over what Asuka wants – payback on Banks for the title or payback on Bayley for what she did to Kairi Sane. Banks interrupts Bayley and says it doesn’t matter what Asuka wants, this is all about them because they have all the gold. They are best friends and role models. A staffer interrupts and says they are needed in the ring for a video conference with Stephanie McMahon. Banks acts a bit concerned but Bayley says they’ve got this, they’re fine. Back to commercial.

– We go back to the ring and see the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions – RAW Women’s Champion Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley. WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon appears on the big screen and they welcome her.

Stephanie thanks Banks and Bayley for joining her. She praises them for achieving their goal of winning all the gold in WWE, except for WWE NXT. They thank her and say her positive feedback means the world because there’s a lot of negative hate in the locker room now. Bayley says they’re trying to be role models for girls around the world, like Stephanie’s daughters. They keep kissing up to Stephanie and she finally changes her tune on them some, bringing up some of their bad actions from this summer. Stephanie isn’t sure about being role models, but they’ve definitely her attention now. They keep sucking up, saying they know what’s best for business. Stephanie isn’t one to hold a grudge, she’s a McMahon. She doesn’t want to lecture them but she does want to challenge them. Stephanie says Banks will defend the RAW Women’s Title at SummerSlam, and it could be against Asuka after the match on Monday’s RAW.

Stephanie says Bayley will also defend her singles title at SummerSlam, against the enemies she’s made as of late on RAW, SmackDown and NXT. There will be a triple brand Battle Royal on next week’s show with the winner facing Bayley at SummerSlam. Stephanie says now that is what’s best for business. Stephanie’s music hits as Banks and Bayley argue in the ring.

WWE RAW Women’s Championship: Asuka (with Kairi Sane) vs. Sasha Banks (with Bayley)

Before the match, Banks calls Stephanie McMahon a bully because she’s forcing her to defend the RAW Women’s Championship. Banks says McMahon is jealous of the Golden Role Models. Bayley says she and Banks are the show, and they made it look easy. She says they do what needs to be done, and she did the right thing at WWE Extreme Rules. Banks says she and Bayley have backed up their talk; they’ve done exactly what they said they would do. Sane chases Bayley to the back.

The competitors lock up and trade dropkicks. Asuka hits a running hip attack and some kicks in the corner. She hits a few more kicks and locks in an armbar. Banks rolls towards the ropes, which forces Asuka to break the hold. Banks snaps Asuka’s leg on the ropes. She hits a backstabber for a two count. Banks locks in a single leg crab and smashes Asuka’s knee into the mat. Banks cotinues to target the knee. Banks grabs the title and tries to leave the arena. She tries to take a page out of Eddie Guerrero’s playbook by tossing the title into Asuka’s hands and faking an injury, but the referee doesn’t buy it. Asuka rocks Banks with a kick.

Banks continues to target Asuka’s leg. She grounds Asuka and talks some trash. Asuka rallies with a flurry of strikes. Banks attacks the leg again and regains control of the match. Banks locks in a single leg crab again and bites Asuka’s hand. Asuka elbows Banks in the face and locks in a kneebar. She transitions to an ankle lock but Banks sends Asuka face-first into a turnbuckle. Banks hits double knees in the corner but Asuka hits a Codebreaker in mid-air. Asuka hits Banks with several striikes. Banks rolls Asuka up for a two count. Asuka suplexes Banks and rocks her with a hip attack.

Banks hits a Frog Splash for a two count and locks in a Bank Statement, but Asuka escapes. Banks sends Asuka crashing to the floor. She slams Asuka knee-first onto the broadcast table. Asuka barely avoids getting counted out. Banks talks more trash but Asuka rolls her up for a two count. Banks locks her in the Bank Statement again. Asuka counters into an ankle lock but Banks escapes. Backstage, Bayley attacks Kairi Sane, The assault distracts Asuka. Sane screams Asuka’s name, and Asuka runs to the back. Asuka gets counted out, so Banks wins the title. Bayley runs away from Asuka.
